    Hi,

    This is not a trojan, this is spyware known as LOP

    See spywareinfoforum.com , download SpyBot S&D below to get rid of it :) Im sure more helpers will be along to assist.

    Hi Dizzy Dee 15,

    If Spybot S&D does not cure the problem, which is not extremely unlikely since lop.com uses random filenames and CLSID's, please go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/, and download 'Hijack This!'.
    Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

    When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
    Press that, save the log as a .txt file, and copy and paste its contents into your next post.

    Most of what it lists will be harmless, so do not fix anything yet.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi Dizzy Dee,

    You did fine. :)

    Go to Add/Remove Software and see if you can remove NewDotNet aka New.Net there, either way continue with the following.

    Check the following items in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://mysearchnow.com/searchbar.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://mysearchnow.com/searchbar.html

    Reboot after doing so, preferably into safe mode and delete:
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\ACCELERATION SOFTWARE <= entire folder
    C:\Program Files\NewDotNet <= entire folder
    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\supporter5.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\ieoacstm.exe

    Some may already be gone, but check to be sure.
    I would like to advise you t uninstall KaZaa as well and have a look here http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/articles/p2p/
    for some spyware-free alternatives.

    Regards,

    Pieter
