Why is it that i get the strange feeling that someone is visiting in disguise ?

"Thank you for trying the Browser Test.

    Virus Detection
It is best to have your anti virus detection turned off for this test..."

There is no way in hell i will go anywhere without my firewall , AV or AT !!!!!!!!!!!! + my browser fully geared up !

Still want me to take that test  under these conditions ?

Old news here  . Reason the more why links as these are allowed over here; judgement will follow soon in most cases.

Having said that: whoever controler represents (or not; doesn't bother me for that matter), we are not looking for a "Lockdown" eg Paris bashing over here. Argumented views and opinions are just fine - as is the case now.

    Just a prudent remark - that's all.

    regards.

While we are on the subject of browsers vulnerabilities, why not check if it's subject to The "DSO Exploit" (Data Source Object)

lol that is the funniest censor faux pas I have seen yet!

    WTF is a peathingy lol!

~uni takes off pink furry cowboy hat with purple polka-dots and a peathingy feather stickin out of it and puts on UN peacekeeping hat~

Controler, you'r doing fine. Use your best judgement. we just want to avoid flame-wars, and other unhappiness. Don't post advertisments for products in the dedicated forums of other products. Post such stuff in a more general place.

PS. Lets not make an infomercial out of this site. If you have some information that you believe is valuble to the members, post a link and a quick description instead of huge paste job. This thread in particular you started is perfectly acceptable. The one where you pasted a whole page off the LD site was not.

peathingy LOL that has a worse meaning than the bird I was trying to say! pee-thingy! lol

    I agree with Unicron.
Most of us are here to give or receive info and/or both on various products and services.
Your peddling methods of going from one forum to another are rather annoying.
You have a product to peddle, provide a link.  You have a forum, provide a link for that as well.  But by god, stop invading each and every forum with that same message.

Why has jooske been asking me for help with her computer then and not here favorite group?
I am not trying to peddle anything only get the damn
informnation straight So stop flamming me dammit LOL
If any product, Syscop TDS-3 ect have issues, I want to get them worked out. I was wrong in thinking this was a site for those issues. BTWI have written perrmission to copy and paste.

Don't go trying to make me out as a bad guy here at your forum. and PLEASE don't think this site is god's gift to the world.
I don't come in here hidding my IP and stuff.
I don't come here to harm your site in any way.
So get mirror look behind self and dig deep

    Controler,

Jooske has nothing to do with all this - please leave her out of this discussion.

Opinions do vary about you advertising a certain brand of software; some obviously do believe you are advertising - and dislike it. IMO that's no flaming at all.

And no: we don't have any problems with discussing issues concerning whatever software. All forums are about specificly that.

Wether or not you do have written permission to copy and paste is not the issue here. Issue is, if copy & paste a whole page from a software brand website does contribute in a valuable way. IMO it isn't.

Reading back, I can't see how your person has been made into "a bad guy". Some might agree with you on ocassion, some might not. Happens to everyone.

You are quite right: this board isn't God's gift to the world. It has been a human effort.

Finally: no one is accusing you from coming here to harm this board.

You are welcome to post on this board if you feel inclined to do so. Don't expect everyone agreeing with you - it most probably won't happen, as it doesn't happen to most of us on ocassion. And that makes a board being alive and kicking - the way it ought to be.

    regards.

    paul

Controler, for myself, purely my own opinion, you seemed to be someone advocating Lockdown in the face of well-known general criticisms of their products.  That's all.  We respect your right to your own opinions, plain and simple.  Please feel welcome here, because you are.  This forum is only as open as our minds, so please consider registering (to avoid spoofing, that's all) and share you thoughts with us.  We all benefit here, no matter how strong or weak our experiences are, and that's a fantastic quality rarely seen elsewhere in life.
