    Good thing I don't use McAfee...

I haven't had any issues with ESET NOD32 3.0 (that I know of at least).

Doesn't say much for Acronis compatibiity testing, especially a popular utility like McAfee. But I am not surprised.

Surely that has to be a Spoof post.
Much as I dislike McAfee it can't really be that bad!

Three reasons why I think it's not a spoof:

One: That's a list re MacDaffee 2007 software. For their 2008 software, the list is diff; they solved some but incurred others --the list is still long:

Two: The address root is the macaffee website--macaffee.com
    Three: I've used MacDaffee -- I'm surprised the lists aren't longer ;)

LOL. I like their statement "Uninstall the incompatible applications from your computer ". Maybe it would be better just to uninstall McAfee.

The fact that TI was included on the 2007 list made me very suspicious because from some installations I have seen there was no such conflict.

However the 2008 list appears genuine and what it is saying in effect is that a computer should only have one anti-virus program installed and running at the same time. To this end they have provided links to uninstall other anti-virus programs or suites which would, not surprisingly, interfere with the McAfee offering.
Having said that I would not use McAfee on any of my computers.
