Just saw this on local tv and as you will read, is spreading like "wildfire". There isn't any av that is able to remove it and has to be done by your isp. Too little details, how was she infected? By rebooting the computer? Cause that's what the article implies, which is ridiculous.
Too little information provided and too many wild claims to take seriously. I've seen plenty of local news reports saying all kinds of crazy things about computer threats. Like not being detected by any AV. Who tested this to make that claim?
This sounds like the usual ransomware infections. They definitely shouldn't take three hours to remove, nor can I understand why an ISP would be needed to remove it.
