    Thanks L W.

I assume "Drop Rights" is a new feature to access LUA. Correct? Has anyone tried it? If so, comments?

Yes, does the same thing as OA's run safer. I've turned it on, but haven't actually checked it. No negatives.

I like it myself so far and everything seems stable and effortless. I'll look for issues but i've found tzuk has a very keen eye for potential & obvious things to look out for, and he definitely reviews every complaint to confirm if it's authentic to his program or systematic of some other user's software program conflicting.

Great App. Thanks for the update notice.

I already use an actual LUA so the new feature doesn't help me but it's nice to see Sandboxie beef up it's security even further.

I like the ability to choose a overwrite rather than a complete uninstall and its potential problems.

I have had no problems with the over write and am pleased to install a superb application upgrade that has always behaved superb.

Whats the benefit of the DropMyRights feature in SandboxIE? Does it increase security a lot?

Anyone having problems with it yet?

I have been running it since it came out and it has been working great. Seems to be faster than the 3.32 version.

If I tick 'Allow direct access to Mozilla Firefox and Seamonkey Bookmarks' then run Firefox sandboxed I lose all my tabs and bookmarks. If I untick this option they all come back.

Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

If you click it ,it loads FF's bookmarks from the real host bookmark dir.
If you do not click it it loads the ones you created while running your browser sandboxed(and have created in a virual dir)
    Less hustle workaround :
-Open firefox sandboxed and select bookmarks>organise bookmarks>import and backup>backup and save the backup file on the desktop so it will get you the prompt for quick recovery
-Close sandboxed firefox and launch firefox out of sandbox(if forced, temporarily disable forced programs) ang go bookmarks>organise bookmarks>import and backup and restore from the file you saved on your desktop..
    Voila!!

This are the reasons I prefere a seamless policy HIPS, I just don't care where the untrusted files are, they can do no harm.

on the other hand if they crash/fail/bump onto a bug all ur limited apps will become wide open, while if u got one sandbox for every app(and make it be the solo app to get inte access) app will just crash in its own sandbox and all the rest will be unaffected.

28 out of 30 students prefer SBIE. So do I. By the way, SBIE is the topic here, NOT "What is your preference?"
