question about file wiping

    does anyone here know anything about wiping files from a flash memory card? i use compact flash and sd to move data around and use a sandisk usb 2.0 6 in one reader/writer. whenever i try to use eraser it shuts down about half way through a wipe and shuts the sandisk device down as well. how do you securely delete files on a compact flash or sd card? nice board you have here. i learned of you from a friend at u of illinois. thanx.
