Please recommend a good free firewall for Win ME

    Can someone recommed good free firewall that easy to use for Windows 9x/ME. Thank for reply.

    I guess the standard suggestion would be ZoneAlarm Free. I have it running on an older Win98 machine here without problems. Very easy to setup and use.

    I second that, nothing beats ZA for protection right out of the box, safe for novices as well.

    Another easy one might be the old Sygate Free too. I don't know if it works on 98/ME, but I would think so.

    Sygate too is quite good, just make sure to uncheck server rights for all apps that don't need them and don't run any kind of proxy, transparent or otherwise.
