Hi . I'm french. In paris is an ISP that's called "Free degroupé". It doesn't use PPPoA or PPPoE systems, but RFC 1483 routé VC MUX.

So, in Phant0m ruleset, i have to specify my gateway mac address. Kamui telle me that it was useless with PPPoA connections... but i don't use this protocol, so i think i would need to ask my ISP, no?

Whatever, even if i disable this rule, i got very much problems with this ruleset. Half of websites can't be read, MSN and AIM may hang up some times...

I configured the ruleset as wrote in the help page, but with so many problems, i can't use it. I think it's because of the protocol used wich isn't very common (only a few modems can use it, and in france is a special modem called "Freebox" - unfortunately i only got a Sagem modem on USB port for the moment ).

    Thanks
NeoY2k (who lost his password LOL )

    Hey NeoY2kv2

Apologies for the late response; If it’s not much troubles I would like to have a Raw Log-file sent throughout the entire session, Go-to Look 'n' Stop's "Options" screen and click on "Advanced options..." button and check "Raw Log" if hadn't already been checked.

Attempt to use Phant0m`` Rule-set $v4.0, configure if hadn’t already been and attempt to access Internet Resources. After few attempts change into EnhancedRulesSet.rls and E-mail me the Raw-Log (raw*.log) file for the current date which will be located in \Soft4Ever\looknstop\logs\.

    My E-mail: Phant0m@wilderssecurity.info

    Thanks in Advance…

    Okay i understood.
I made the log file, i'm gonna send it to you.
What happened when i launch the firewall?

Any connection was impossible "Host un reachable, could'nt locate remote server etc..."
AIM crashed first, and msn crashed just after.
    Thx

    Ah, i would say too:

There are not really "modems", the modem is known as a dhcp relay.

    I tested your new rules: problem solved! Congratulations :) :) :) phant0m!

But, is this 4.1 version as secure as the 4.0 version?
