it is pretty light but not so great detection from my tests though i may grab one fir this price to add to the scanners, when does this one start ticking down maybe chris can chime in here?

 

What has it failed in?

 

Did you use the comprehensive database? It's pretty decent once you use that. As such detection rates are decent but not the best due to low update frequency and lack of Insight.

 

Got it myself. Installed it on a Sony Vaio E series laptop with 2 gb of ram on my elders brothers laptop. Seems to be a touch heavy for my liking in comparison to other suites that I have used over the years including Norton IS, Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete, Avast Internet Security etc. Otherwise for the price it is a steal no doubt. The performance issue could be ram related as well because this laptop has only 2gb should upgrade to 4gb I guess.

Finish a full scan with it and let it run for a few days. Then see whether the heaviness continues. It's not so heavy here, it's not the lightest either though

 

I agree with you Firecat, I have done exactly as you mentioned got the full scan done and will test it over the next few days to see if it reduces its footprint in terms of performance. I have been using Webroot SecureAnywhere Complete on my machines especially my netbook and desktop since the last year or so. Found it to be quite good but I am looking to test out Panda Internet Security or some other company internet security at a through away price like Download Crew is providing. Bullguard has gone a touch expensive for my liking even on download crew I will run out my existing license on Webroot and then buy something new. Till then I have to wait I guess.
