I wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue or if there is a work around. We have Paragon NTFS 12 running on 3 different machines and have seen this behavior. Our configuration is Bootcamp and Mac OSX Yosemite split with 250MB to each OS. All of our software is completely up to date. We are interacting with source code text files using Perforce and Unity 3D 5 and trying to store our files on the Windows partition so they are accessible whether we boot to Mac OSX or Windows. When creating files on the Mac (either copying or moving within Unity, Perforce or a shell script), we get unpredictable and intermittent issues where the files are created either with the read-only and/or hidden flag enabled when working with the NTFS drive. To fix this, we need to run chflags nohidden <filename> from the terminal on the hidden files, or for the read-only files, fix the permissions in the Get Info dialog or fix them via chmod in the terminal. We do not seem to encounter this issue when the files are located on the Mac OS Drive (Default Yosemite Core Storage - HFS+ I think). Has anyone else seen behavior like this? If so, is it a bug in the Paragon NTFS driver? Any work arounds? Thanks in advance for any info/tips anyone can provide.
