I would say Opera as well, it opens (loads) quicker than FF, has a better interface & quite simply loads pages much faster than FF ever has for me (untweaked & tweaked)

On my system Opera wins everytime, Firefox seems a little to sluggish firing up but once it is up and running runs just fine

  13. Opera is number one, always was.

Opera is one of the best kept secrets on the Internet, especially in the United States.

Yeah, if there is one browser faster than Opera it is K-Meleon, but the thing is too darn geeky to use.

OPERA, I've been using it for 2 1/2 years. Which is when I first heard of OPERA. I constantly see the legons of Firefox, I ask them what is so great about Firefox, what they say can be sumed-up in one word extentions. That said I have Firefox on my computer because of the change proxy extention. I use Tor + Privoxy as 0ne proxy and Jap as my second proxy. I use OPERA all the time, I am posting from OPERA. Firefox is dead slow, always has been.

Yeah, the funny thing is that many of the preferred extensions for FFox have been default-implemented in Opera for many years now.

That said, if one is happy with FFox, why not stick with it?

Opera users know what they use and why, other people simply don't know what they're missing, but that's their loss. I guess that's fine with me...

Been trying to explain many on-line users why Opera is such a good choice compared even to FF and Kmeleon (not to mention IExplorer ;;) of course), but I got tired of it...

    No big deal.

    Cheers

you can customise Opera just as much as firefox, my sister did most of the stuff with my opera when she was trying out Ubuntu but i think it's done by editting the ini files and with bookmarklets.

Why should it matter to you what the question is? You're not even a registered user. I believe the poster asked a legit question, and it was obviously something he wanted an answer to.
