Norton LiveUpdate

Hi

Just isntalled Norton AV, but the Norton LiveUpdate will not run unless I turn off Application Filtering in LnS.

Can you help please?

 

Do you see anything in your log file of LnS, which could shine some light on this ? Can you post this here?

Only when I flag the application to log, then it shows Allowed.

 

So, application filtering is detecting the app.

Do you have a rule for internet filtering, which logs all traffic and can be put on top of all rules. If you check to log this rule, you should see all traffic coming from this update application (theoretically )

Problem solved, there was an obscure box to tick in NAV.
