I did like the GUI of last year more.
But more important, I don't see any new feature.

So this is just a minor product update. New GUI, under the hood improvements. That is really a drawback of the companies with year-versions. Most updates are just a refreshed GUI and some small improvements. Basically like ESET going to 4.2 or avast going to 5.1 or whatever.

But Norton AntiVirus 2010 was really nice, so 2011 will also be good! (I don't care about suites, all bloatware (tuneup, backup, parental control, antispam and so on [nothing wrong with a firewall though].)

What were you expecting to be there that isn't. Its good that there is no bloat added. Norton is a more-focused company. This is the new Norton!

Not too many interesting features that are new I'm afraid, but what the heck, it's Norton so how can I possibly not test it. :D I'll go through some serious malware and see how it acts (yes, MDL, NOT to see how many it "catches", I always only use it to see it's behavior), since everything will be run in the sandbox of COMODO anyway. With the bugfixes provided by COMODO, there shouldn't be a problem.

I was able to download the beta downloader, nothing more than that. Could someone please upload the full beta installer somewhere? Thank you

EDIT: NVM, I was able to get it working on a second try. Anyone tell me if you need the full installer and I'll upload it for you. ;)

    NIS 2011 beta downloader
    http://rapidshare.com/files/377038992/NISBetaDownloader.exe.html

I've been running the program from hours and it is working great here - on Windows 7 x32

It isn't that minor product update . Yes , innovative new feauture (in-the-Cloud) was introduced in version 2010 , now this and other technologies are improved . SONAR is stronger than ever.

LOL at you! People are having trouble to download the actual installation file - not the downloader itself, that's the easy part and activation code is eventually needed too. :D

From my experience I know that the majority of vendors test their new products for about half an year . Moreoever , the can't release version 2011 in June of 2010 .
