It's good to see them making some progress. I was very keen on Windows Phone 7 when it first came out, but the process of getting the handsets to market and pushing out the OS updates was just too slow. It's not clear even now if Microsoft really "gets" that the updates must go out ASAP if they want to compete with Android and iOS. Frankly, after looking at Windows 8 CP I'm not sure they get anything.

    I've got a Lumia 900 and I would have to agree. :D

I already made a compromise with myself to skip Lumia 900 and get the top notch of the next generation of Nokia smartphones, which will come with WP 8. But I have to admit that the more I read about Lumia 900 (and the WP 7.5 that comes with it), the more I want it.

I was tempted to do the same. I gave up unlimited data on Verizon with a Droid 2 to get this thing. So far I do not regret it. I miss the better coverage that Verizon had in this area but I do not feel the phone is lacking for anything.

Apple patches Siri, no longer says Lumia 900 is 'best smartphone ever'

Deliberate wrong answers now. It is not to be trusted. :D

But then again, if you have conversations with your phone instead of on it, then I guess you can believe whatever it says. :D

Reminds me of that old adage that there's nothing wrong with talking to yourself, but you've got problems when you start answering back :)

vasa1 picked the few most negative passages of the article. I would like to see the numbers which are backing them.

Yes. That was deliberate because things were getting a bit lop-sided. Only the pros were being highlighted. If both aspects, pros and cons, are being covered that would add credibility.
