Try this with your NOD32 AV 5:

    1. Open up your Custom Scan window and designate one or more folders for exclusion. Important: make sure that you select folders located on more than one of your drives.
    2. Click the Save tab to save your custom scan.
    3. Close the custom scan window.
    4. Reopen your custom scan window and note that NOD only honored the exclusions on one of your drives.

This oddity is not happening when I exclude folders on one drive only.

    Windows 7 (64 bit)
    NOD 32 AV 5.0.95

Works fine here even if folders are excluded on different drives.

    Thanks Marcos.

Okay I have subsequently learned that when I return to my Custom Scan window I have to select "By profile settings" under the "Scan Targets" drop down menu tab. All works as it should.
