After 30 days it will fail to update, but continue to protect with it's existing database of virus signatures. It will remind you with nags of this state until you uninstall it.

Lack of updates render it useless against the 70-100 new viruses every week, so you Must replace it with a commercial version or similiar asap.

If you choose Nod32, always uninstall the trial version after downloading, and before installing. You can experiance major conflicts between versions if you don't.

If have also experienced major lock ups if I have installed the commercial version while running my original AV program. (Panda - just forgot to take it off first)

The trial version being fully functional, is a great way for people to be protected, as well as see how it labours not the resourses of their computer, and learn to interface with it's menus & features before committing the dollar.

Yes bet, what if you have downloaded the trial ver, then paid for the full ver, with downloading full, then it comes up and tells you your trial period is over, and you cannot update.?

You need to remove ALL traces of the trial version before you install the registered version.

Uninstall, reboot, then check with a registry cleaner( the free RegSeeker is recommended) that you have removed all traces of the NOD trial, including its program folder.

Then, after shutting down as many programs as possible, install the registered version.

    Hope this works.
