    Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster :)

I’ve been using NOD 32 (currently 2.7) with Zonealarm for a couple of years now.
Both will be expiring in the next month or two. I want to continue using NOD and replace Zone alarm.

After much research on these forums and elsewhere, I’ve narrowed it down to three possibilities but have some questions and concerns that I’m hoping someone can answer :)

    Options:
    1. Keep NOD 2.7 and use Online Armor
Will 2.7 be supported much longer?

While OA has good reviews (the few I could find) and their CEO seems great, I’m wondering how big the company is, I’m a little concerned it could be just a couple employees so bugs may not be caught or it could disappear in a year :)

    2. Upgrade to NOD 3.0 and use Online Armor
My concern here is the proxy setup in NOD 3 although the OA forums claim that checking “intercept loopback” will solve the proxy issue and allow OA to correctly identify connections to the net.

    3. Upgrade to Eset Security suite.
I’ve heard that the firewall isn’t great for outbound traffic (I have a router so outbound is one of the main reasons I use a software FW) Does the proxy issue still apply with their own FW or is it a non-issue?
Does it have HIPS like OA?

I'd also like to supplement any choice with either Spyware sweeper or Counterspy. Any conflicts with the above choices?

    Thanks All!

    -Dave
