    It's only a minor niggle.....but fairly annoying.

My system came with NTI (New Tech Infosystems) CD maker, which creates .ncd files when copying discs. I have a few of these stored on the HDD as backups.

Recently I bought an external DVD burner which came with Nero. Now occasionally (if I've opened the Nero CD/DVD cover making thing) Nero hijacks these .ncd files and changes them (and the icons) to a Nero Cover Design file (same extension)....

I've changed them back a few times, but I can't really figure out how to sort it....

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Brad.

    Hi Biggie !
    Long time my friend .
NTI has done this for a long time . NTI may also cause your CD player to close itself out on your computer making it inaccessible . Sad because NTI was good many years back .

Hey HWPC! Thanks for the reply, but I sort of think it's nero that's stealing the file association from NTI. NTI was the original prog....and it has worked beautifully so far....
