Manjaro 20.0 Lysia Officially Launched New Manjaro version is now available for download April 26, 2020 https://news.softpedia.com/news/manjaro-20-0-lysia-officially-launched-529822.shtml
Does it support UEFI secure boot yet? I remember previous versions one has to turn off secure boot in order to install Manjaro
I'm interested too. If it doesn't support Secure Boot then I'm not interested as all my other multi-boot OS do support it and I don't want to change the UEFI BIOS setting for one OS. And then have to change the setting again.
It's a pity that Manjaro still does not support secure boot in the year of 2020. *******, I will install Ubuntu 20.04 after work tonight.
Manjaro forum is now in read only form. Seems to be due to a financial dispute over how and what community funds were being used for. https://forum.manjaro.org/t/change-of-treasurer-for-manjaro-community-funds/154888
Yep and many of the users, forum support people moved on to EndeavourOS. Things are hopping @EndeavourOS
A new Manjaro forum is now open. https://forum.manjaro.org/ They say old forum malfunctioned and all uploaded images were lost https://forum.manjaro.org/t/welcome-to-the-new-manjaro-forum/151
Shame all the complaining posts about broken systems resulting from updates have now been lost along with the old forum e.g. May 4, 2020 - every second time after updating manjaro gnome anything doesnt work in the end or it breaks the whole system Simply unacceptable Jan 26, 2019 - ... know how this is possible to happen but to me it is a major fk-up - to push such an update via the stable channel that will brake your system. But good to see they too have been victims of a “botched update”. For a system supposedly in the top popularity group I too find it totally unacceptable that their post installation infrastructure is so poorly constructed and managed. Slick marketing and a hundred custom wallpapers do not a useful system make and for me Manjaro is far from useful since half the time it or parts of it stop working.
