I am curious about products with BB technology that you are using and their features:

It Monitors Behaviors (sequence of actions) or Operations (individual actions)?
    It have a rollback function?
    It downloads small updates?
What is the frequency of the updates?
Can be installed without the On-Access File scanner?

Mamutu or threatfire. Mamutu would probably be a better choice since it is currently being developed. Threatfire was supposed to be developed and there has been some "talk" about it coming back. Threatfire is free, where mamutu isn't. I don't think either have a rollback feature though.

threatfire is something not normal !! most it is powered from its robust HIPS.

but i assure you it's not something standard..cuz you know even u'll get problem with performing FF or even yahoo msnger.. of course for trusted softwares like those.. must be a pre-defined exception list..

Yes my choice would be also Mamutu as a single software..

but there are robust antiviruses which have BB

    best regards

yeah, Norton's SONAR, Kaspersky's PDM, MSE's Live System Behavior Monitoring, Panda's TruPrevent

Well, ThreatFire is not exactly a Behavior Blocker, by the moment I will try Mamutu.

Threatfire is a behavior blocker. It was actually one of the first one's out there. Why do you think its' not a BB? Just curious as to what you thought it was.

If I remember correctly threatfire is a behavior blocker in default settings, but on level 5 it became a paranoid monster and more on the line of hips or excutable.

I've used Mamutu for almost two years, and like it a lot. It's supported, updated frequently, and isn't too noisy. The interface is well-designed and easy to understand.

Mamutu...still developed, clear modern GUI, etc...but paid and not so much configurable as is...ThreatFire. I think TF is still on the top.

Mamutu would be like a 100% Behavior Blocker, while Threatfire is more like a tuned down HIPS into a BB.

Although both are great programs, Threatfire is kinda dead by now so the best option would be Mamutu. :D

exactly !! the Highest level !! you are not gonna believe even it gets problem with itself in highest level !

but i severely recommend not to install it with another product which uses HIPS and BB ..! if u do so the result will be a shame.. unless u configure it to match with the other Security Suit
but trying it worths it !! :d

I would venture a sure guess that Mamutu as matters stand today (and yesterday for good measure) remains "THE" lone net-wide individual Pure Behavioral Blocker in the industry as we know it.
