    Can I set up KAV pro to do a scan then shut down the PC when it's finished (if it doesn't find anything suspicious)??

    Yes, just right click on your KAV icon in your systray and select "Scan My Computer for Viruses" when the box opens to scan you will see an option in the bottom left corner to shut down computer when done.

    I dunno if this applies to KAVPP, but in KAVP the option to turn off computer when scan is complete isn't completely visible until one clicks on the double downward arrows in the bottom right corner.
