Like Peter here, I have know Tony since the start and last spoke to him about a month ok and he seemed fine. It could be anything but have emai;ed him tonight. If I, or anyone hears from him please let all know. He is a good friend who overcame tough odds to make a great product and I dont see him abandoning it at will.

That's a shame if something has happened. Could be a number of reasons. For example, my ADSL2 connection was down for a week, for no apparent reason but my account was cancelled by mistake.

He might have had the same thing, or had a family member pass away and given the web/work away for awhile.

Regarding the program, what is the most stable version people are using? And is there a download link to the most stable one?

I also like to be optimistic about it. Certainly, after seeing First Defense ISR, ShadowUser Pro being discontinued (programs which were unanimously seen as excellent) one should be prepared to any kind of scenario.

As for the most stable version, I'm using '325 which works well with Vista32 and XP Pro SP3. All I can remember about the one before '325 was a printing mistake in one of the windows advising you how to reboot out of shadow mode.

I run shadow defender on all my computers. It would indeed be a sad day if that were to happen  Its so lite on resources, and so stable. I have Never had any problems out of it at all, and i would rank it #1 for virtualization security for home computers.

I have tried nearly all 32 bit versions of Shadow Defender including beta.
    I use Windows 2000 on fat32
I have never had any sort of blue screen of death event with Shadow Defender but I have had problems at times with Avast and Malwarebytes losing their update settings on reboot from Shadow Mode and (in earlier version) Nero having to re-register....those kind of unnerving "glitches" and I felt that at times I had file corruptions.
I use sygate pro firewall which is running at kernel level and I think that is where the problem might be...some sort of conflict between either/or all of these programs. This applies (for me) even to more recent beta versions and I have reverted to 1.1.0.278 which I find the most stable version.
Not very "scientific" ( I know :) ), just my thoughts

It certainly looks like a clone. Even the website is exactly the same, the price is higher though: 59.95 USD.

I looked at the Phantom Armor thing. Downloaded it into VB, with win XP sp2. It seemed to run okay at first but began causing BSOD's. I'm assuming it's the program, since I never had a BSOD before downloading Phantom Armor. I'm not experienced enough to figure out the problem, since I seldom test security software unless it really appeals to me.

Regardless, it's gone now after barely a couple of hours. I've got the real ShadowDefender, and will keep it for a while. Even if the company is gone, the software software should be good for a long time.

Other versions go back to 2009 ?

Big claims, whatever they Actually mean ?

They hide their identity etc !

$59.95 USD Is a lot, even if it worked properly, and was legit.

All looks very dodgy anyway ?
