Is a 2-year Subscription transferrable to a new computer, and re-downloadable in case of erasure? Somewhere I missed this stock information which probably applies to every Security ware subscription ... This product doesn't slow down my Vista PC like the others I've tried and it's time to buy. Now the 2-year price is good, provided it is transferrable to a new PC if I buy one, or re-downloadable should a clean OS re-install be needed.

Yeeks -- also, my Trial subscription expires one week before I can pay for an activated Subscription ($90 for a 2-year). Will ESET give me a week's grace period from Trial expiration date till I have the money to pay? MSN Premium ISP includes Windows OneCare which I can download during the interim, but I'd hate to remove ESET to download OneCare then reverse the process a week later when my Bank debit card has funds ...

Im guessing but don't know for sure. That as long as its only updating from 1 PC you should be fine. its when your User name and PW are updating many computers you run into a problem.

    Yes - for sure :thumb:

Well , generally NO , but you don't need to uninstall your ESET Smart Security (ESS) . Your trial version will expire but it will just stop updating . You can safely rely on its great heuristics and be safe surfer in that period . When you purchase your license , you will simply open ESS's Update setup and enter your unique username/password . Then update the program and it will automatically transfer to a full paid version.

if you don't want to install onecare - contact a local reseller who might be able to get you a one week temporary code. i know we have done this kind of thing before - but normally for small business licenses.
