Got the auto update started for 2.000.5 version quoted as about 9 megs - started downloading but interrupted (at my end) at about the 2 meg point by unrelated blackout here. Program now says it's perfectly updated at 2.000.5 with latest virus sigs - and it doesn't want to update any more; says I'm perfectly up to date. Should I believe it? Is ther a manual download of the update or means of checking whether I'm really good?

    Hi Steve,
based on the size of the update (9 MB) I presume that a mirror for a diffrent system or language version must have been created, too. Usually program component update should not exceed the size of NOD32 installation package (I assume the update was terminated at the point when files for another platform were being downloaded so it did not affect your system).
