    Hi everybody,

I have a question about the blocking of the internet by Web Access Protection. It wont allow me to browse (neither IE8 or Firefox), unless I disable it everytime I turn on the computer. Is there a way to block this feature (or any other feature blocking the internet), or allow internet to be viewable/useable?

    Thanks for your help.

(XP SP2 if this helps, and the computer is connected to a router through ethernet) Thanks ! :D

    Hi, try this:

    1. From the Advanced Setup tree (F5), click 'Personal Firewall' -> 'Protocol Filtering'.

    2. Select the 'Applications marked as Internet browsers or e-mail clients' option.

    3. From the Advanced Setup tree, click 'Antivirus and antispyware' -> 'Web access protection' -> 'HTTP' -> 'Web browsers' and make sure that only the applications you want scanned with the Internet filter are selected. Typically only real web browsers (iexplorer.exe, firefox.exe, etc.) will need to be selected.

Let us know if this helps.
