How to delete certain backup files in secure zone

My secure zone has one original full backup and several incremental backups. How to delete one of those incremental backups. Thanks.

 

Taht kind of manual mangement of files isn't a feature of the Secure Zone. If you want the kind of automated file management that the SZ offers and still be able to do manual file management, then get rid of hte SZ and create a Backup Location instead.

Note that the SZ allows you to backup onto the same drive as your source, however, you won't be able to restore if the hdisk goes wonky.

 

Your best bet is to make another full backup and then start adding incs to that if that is what you want.

If the zone is full or nearly so your can still create another base image and continue from there.

For automatic FIFO to start you need at least two full images in the zone. If you do not have enough room for two full images and some incs you should either increase the size of the zone or choose another solution.
Because of its security features the zone does not permit manual alterations, but played according to the rules it can work just fine.

So that now turns what was a secure zone into an unsecure zone. Gawd help us from all these extra user options! About on a par with the option of not restoring a good MBR, that added a whole new slew of complications that were not necessary at all.

Yes, but I hear that ATI2009 will have a new Alert feature that tells you if the ATI GUI has been opened recently. You can only see the alert from within the ATI GUI.

Also, a new space saver feature that deletes a backup file immediately after it is created. The user can specify the number of minutes ATI waits until it performs the deletion from 1-10 minutes.

Also, a new Rye and Decide feature that let's you install a program and then, upon reboot, advises you to give up and go have a shot of whiskey.
