I have tried, qhat I would assume to be, evey host file imaginable and have not really been satisfied with any of them. A lot of times they try to do to much, increase in size and slow browsing down. Also, many of the more popular HOST files have been flagged by my antispyware, telling me that there are multiple misdirections. Obviously that's not good. I'm looking for a host file that only tries to block malware related addresses not ads; I have proxomitron for that. Does such a file exist, and if so could you point me to it? Or am i better off using PeerGuarding?

A very good combination indeed. I would recommend the same thing. I work with both and it works great.
