... And I'm back to having no green fly-out again.

Is Alert protecting my machines running Norton or not?

Which antivirus does HitmanPro.Alert work better with? ESET IS or Windows Defender (Windows 10 64bit Pro (v.1903 build:18362.295)?

If you open the GUI and check the Exploit mitigations -> Running applications you can check, if it's under "Protected".

Works okay with my setup, see my signature. I've made posts elsewhere here about how I configured comodo. I have voodooshield on autopilot mode while I'm at the PC and always on mode while AFK. The option in voodooshield to auto-deactivate it is disabled and the UI is locked.

Perhaps I should have been more specific. Without the green fly-out when I open Firefox on my machines running Norton, is Alert's Safe Browsing working?

I installed hitmanpro.alert next to my Sandboxie on my PC. Do any of them require advanced configuration? Does Hitmanpro.alert check the on sandboxie running Firefox browser?

Sometimes Sandboxie triggers a HmP.Alert-mitigation. It’s a known issue. Check this forum for more info.

    Thank you S-Man! :thumb:

I am not a beta tester, as I only run the release version of HMPA (which implies that I am not following the beta thread).

    So it has been released...

    Confirmed.
It was offered on my two systems, and they were automatically updated on reboot.

The new build of HMP.Alert seems to have a new protection feature under "Process Protection"

Question (I know, I ask a lot of questions) Does HMP Alert protect the whole system from exploits or just the apps added into its menu? If it protects the whole system from exploits, then what's the added benefit of adding an app to its menu besides the keystroke encryption?

    HitmanPro.Alert 3.7.10 Build 785 Released

    Changelog (compared to build 781):
    • Added CTF Guard under Risk Reductions, which validates CTF protocol callers. This new system-level exploit mitigation protects against abuse of the undocumented Windows CTF protocol as mentioned in CVE-2019-1162, discovered by Tavis Ormandy. More details: https://news.sophos.com/en-us/2019/08/22/blocking-attacks-against-windows-ctf-vulnerabilities/
    • Improved Keystroke Encryption on Windows 10 version 1903 (19H1). For example, renaming a file in a Save As dialog of a web browser should now work as expected.
    • Improved Keystroke Encryption compatibility with ESET Internet Security.
We're automatically updating everyone to this new build.
Note: Build 783 is replaced with this build, 785, which fixes a compatibility issue with some third-party security software and CTF Guard.

    Have a great weekend! :thumb:

Have the exact same problem, Windows 1903, Bitdefender, Firefox doesn't open with error 0000000x5 unless I exclude it from exploit mitigation...

Windows 10 Pro 1809, running Bitdefender, Firefox doesn't open getting error 0000000x5 unless exploit mitigation is turned off after upgrading to 3.7.10 Build 785

No problems with the security setup in my signature. Not even when sandboxing things in comodo.

No problem with Firefox and EAM with HmP.A v3.7.10 build 785, Win 10 v1903 build 18362.295, so does appear to be a Bitdefender issue.

    Compatibility issue with Sandboxie.
If checked, Windows will crash during boot time after first turning on your PC. Windows version 1903 build: 18362.295, HmP.Alert 3.7.10.785, Sandboxie: 5.31.2
