    That link cites Dell. I'm still to see a single Dell ad in Indian newspapers that doesn't say "Dell recommends Windows 7" or words to that effect.
    If they're strategically committed, they're certainly not showing their committment. At best, I've seen Dells ship with FreeDOS instead of Windows. Also, note the .aspx in the Dell link.

    This other link deals mostly with servers and stuff.

    Well most netbooks and laptops sold in the country today are with DOS, thats the lure of low price, many youngsters in colleges and schools today opt for Ubuntu or other variants of Linux except for the avid gamers, they get custom Windows.
