I am considering a free 10hr/mo ISP, Net Zero.
The agreement has a section that in effect means they can monitor who and where you surf, and report that to anyone they desire.
I don't really care in one way, as I do not go to porn or other risky sites.

That aside, would the GhostSurf prevent info from going even to the ISP?

I would only use the computer a few weeks a year out of my ISP, and do not want to pay for a national ISP such as AOL.

Any good alternatives to Net Zero?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

I don't think there are too many ISPs that offer free service anymore, unless you don't mind going to your local library to access the net that way. But if there are any decent freebies around I would look here for one. http://www.freedomlist.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1

But I would think using Tor or Ghostsurf should provide the anonymity you need when using Netzero. But I would avoid there spyware software that you have to install in order to access the net and look for another free one at the link I provided.
