Few here but dont know for what period they are free.

May be more will be added.

Norton AV doesn't have few AV protection features compared to Internet Security. I dont remember what but some zeroday protection is missing in AV compared to Suite.

    Thanks.
Norton is arguably second best after EAM, I'm going to use it.

For how long will this offer be valid? I am currently using a competing product that I am pleased with but it expires in 17 days. Thanks

Norton is pretty good. I used to hate it, until I tried to recent version. Bought 1 year license some time ago :)

It says, 'Install and use it to October.' So I think you can install anytime that is after 17 days but you can only use it till October. Hope that answers your question.

Use IDM´s " Add URL " function to start direct downloading from that eClack´s link.

Hmmm.. seems good news huh. I'd like to ask some questions to those of you who have been users of NAV 2012. Other than the Windows firewall, which firewall plays nice with it?

Are there any settings that a new user should know prior using NAV 2012..?

I am trying it under WTF, feels good, no slowdown, scans just fine. Installed it just for fun but seems like a nice antivirus. Anybody looking for one, might want to take a look at this offer.

Crap. Just total crap. Norton completely bricked my Firefox. I tried to reinstall it and Norton bricked the setup file. Uninstalled.

I had to uninstall and reinstall and now it says 0 days subscription left, same message in my Norton account I created two days ago (when it said 180 days left)... nice Norton, very nice.

Edit I managed to find the bloody activation key.

My FF feels the same with or without NAV, I did not install the Norton addon.

Staying away from troubles like you experienced is the main reason why I dropped real time antivirus.

When you install it the first time create a Norton Account (main GUI, top right).
Afterwards whenever you access the account you will see the product listed, click on top of "Norton Antivirus" and the key will show.

It was the fact that the key is hidden by default that confused me. Also I have other products there (it's an old account) and couldn't figure out which one was what.
