File attachments

    Recently lost the ability to attach a file in a post.

    What did I goober up?

    What happens when you try and just to be sure....do you see the Manage Attachments button ?

    Thanks Bubba and Brad,

    No...I didn't have the 'manage attach' button. I went to LWM's post, put Wilders in my trusted zone, and voila!!

    Where in hell have you been? You are a sight for sore fingers! Last I heard from you ......you were checking out the 'Soylent Green' facility. Damn...you have a lot of catching up to do in the pasting dept.

    Maybe an usefull addition to LWM's post;) :

    I have a new router/firewall.

    Recently i noticed that there were major upload-problems to Wilders, "upload file from your computer" wasn't possible anymore.

    I couldn't figure out the cause of the problem, all browser-settings etc. were correct, in fact the problem couldn't exist but nevertheless it was.

    Yesterday i have spend the whole day to solve the problem, and together with LWM (Mike, thanks again to offer so much of your valuable time) we found the solution, it was a really unexpected one:

    in the router/firewall the option "drop non-http connections on TCP port 80" was enabled.

    After unticking this option it was possible again to upload a file from my computer to Wilders.
