I use IE for my browsing but use Chrome to build websites.
I use Chrome in conjunction with Adobe Brackets which is pretty neat.

I can select stuff in a page inside Chrome and Brackets shows me the relevant HTML codes. :thumb:

Invision Board forums do seem to have issues with copy and paste. See here for one

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/514262/cant-paste-text-on-bc-using-ie-11/

Wokaround is to disable the editor by clicking the toggle in the upper left corner that looks like a light switch.

    It works for me.

I use chrome based and sometimes firefox based browsers, as those other browsers like torch has integrated media downloader and download speed-up, plus works fast better streaming and more stable the chrome. For firefox based browsers I use palemoon or water dragon. They are more smoother and faster then firefox.

I have been a Pale Moon user for a few years now. Firefox used to be my back up but with the Australis monstrosity release and the removal of GUI features it has now been consigned to the browser trash heap.

I still like Firefox, although Chrome is faster. Firefox is still the king of tweaking and customizing. If Firefox changes style, no problem, install an addon! If chrome changes style, problem, can't do anything!

IE (11) since version 5... there is no place for a other browser here :shifty:

    No problem moontan.

By the way, I sometimes have to use the same workaround in order to 'quote' a post on Invision Power Board forums.

Even after all the crazy interface changes, I can't draw myself away from Firefox.
The fact is, I can still set Firefox the way I like it, no matter how hard Mozilla try to turn me away from it, and that is a BIG positive. :thumb:

Been using Chromium ever since Google started force showing the bell tray icon, pretty much the same as Chrome but without all the tracking stuff, only downside is the codec support isn't as good as Chrome, quite a few youtube vids don't have the HD options. Tried Maxthon a few times & it's a fast browser but doesn't give many security options & the tab system on it is a bit weird.

The Google Now bell? I don't have it since I'm not signed in to a Google account. And it seems that you can disable it anyway.

@GrafZeppelin You could disable it in previous version using the chrome flags options but Google changed it so that it would appear anyway, there is a massive thread on Google product forums with both Win & Mac users raging about it, I have set windows to hide the icon but it still showed so Google are not following MS guidelines for systray icons. Tried Chromium browser & apart from Google search page crashing the browser (how ironic) which the Chromium devs quickly fixed I have had no issues with it apart from some codec support. Mind you I do sign into Google account with both Chrome & Chromium.

I wanted to try & use newer Opera browser more but Bitdefender's AV+ 2014 AVC doesn't seem to like it, Opera opens but doesn't load anything at all,no speed dial, fav's or even settings. Posted on BD forums but they didn't care, then others posted saying they had same thing but still nothing was done. Have to disable AVC in BD's options then open Opera & remember to turn AVC back on.

USA still the best. But barely.
I found some Firefox addons that replace what I missed from Opera 12.16. They are:
AniWeather 0.8.40, Disconnect 3.14.0, Disconnect Search 1.4.1, Duplicate In Tab Context Menu 1.0.0, FireGestures 1.8.7, Noia Theme Manager 2.0.0, Open Bookmarks in New Tab 0.1.2012122901, QuickJava 2.0.4, Speed Dial 0.9.6.16, Undo Closed Tabs Button 3.9.1, WOT 20131112, & Yet Another Context Search 1.31.

I almost feel like I found an active Opera 12.16 fork. But not quite, I miss Presto it's faster.

I updated my post from page 5 for mostly a selfish reason. Being I am unorganized & I look up my old posts to see what I did before. And maybe somebody will find this useful.

I'm keeping my eyes on Lunascape. I will try it when I've got the time.

And I've tried it. Meh, it overcomplicates things which should be easy to do. And I can't seem to import my Chrome bookmarks. :thumbd:

QupZilla is almost perfect but the only thing is it won't play YouTube videos in HTML5.

    OH GAWD WHY...??!!

Aaaargh can't I have a favourite web browser? Midori is broken, Dooble is stupid and Sleipnir feels like a weird Chromium clone. Why is nearly every WebKit-based web browser directly copy-paste'ing Chromium. You lazy bumpers! I have had no real favourite since March 2011. Comodo Dragon is the closest thing but I want something more different (not to mention Dragon's development pace is very slow).

    A quick update:

I´ve switched (or returned) to Opera v11 as my mainbrowser, because v12 has got some weird problems. For example scrolling is a bit flaky (it´s not smooth on lots of sites), seems like they messed up Presto. :thumbd:

As back up browsers I use Opera v12 and Firefox, because some sites don´t work in Opera v11. I must admit that IE11 is kinda fast, even without ad and scriptblockers.

    i'm trying out Maxthon atm.

it's very poor on the addon side (no Ghostery, AdBlock, NoScript etc).
but it's quite fast and has a few extra that are very nice, like an integrated screen grabber/clipper and night mode.

it also gives me very good result when i copy part of a web page and paste it into EPIM.

I have not been able to get to the settings in comodo dragon for months now because the icon is frozen in the top left of the screen. I mainly use chrome so have not been to worried about it.

I've been going back and forth between Firefox and QuipZilla. If I had to say which is the best, I like the layout of QuipZilla over the new Australis design in Firefox, but I prefer the flexibility of add-ons, extensions, themes, and default sandboxie integration of Firefox. Mixed feelings at the moment.

Thanks for mentioning this browser, Techwiz:cool:, I think I am going to play with it later. When you say that it lacks Sandboxie integration, you mean settings for allowing bookmarks and that kind of thing, right? Were you able to figure out how to integrate it with SBIE?

    How is "QupZilla" pronounced?

Is there an easy way to open to Bookmarks/History Sidebar?
