Failed to log on to network path warning...

    When I try to back up my D: drive TI just hangs as if its starting but does nothing. When I check the logs I see "Failed to log on to network path "D:|", with username "". Details:[Error opening the file. (0x40007)

    How do I get around this - and what is my username?

    Try with the UNC name of the share (\\myserver\myshare) The backuo service runs as Local System and does not have access to network drives mapped under the user's credentials.

    Thanks - I ended up uninstalling and cleaning all occurances of Acronis out of the registry and it appears to be doing ok now. I think it just got mixed up because the trial version was originally installed on C and the purchased one on E - I reinstalled on C. I think the problem is that the uninstall leaves stuff all over the registry that is not deleted on an uninstall.
