I installed ESET Mobile Security for Android through Google Play and used up my free trial period. I then used the in-app purchase feature to buy a one year license for the product, except it won't activate. Whenever I go to the Activation section and click "load license data", I recieve a balloon notification that says "Activation successfull". I then go back to the apps main menu where it says "Trial has expired".
I have tried un-installing and reinstalling and I have installed the latest update from Google Play.

I tried contacting ESET support in Australia who told me that my issue was not their problem and I needed to contact ESET North America (Apparently where the Google Play order was processed).

I then lodged a support request through ESET America which was never responded to and then closed three weeks later with no resonse.

What do I do and where can I get help! o_O

I would very much appreciate any help in resolving this issue. It seems that nobody at ESET really cares.

    Thanks,
    Daniel W

Sorry about this experience you've had. I have two suggestions. The 1st is to send me your contact information via Private Message and I will make sure someone from ESET Support contacts you.

2nd, did you uninstall using the built-in ESET Uninstaller? Regardless, try the uninstall/reinstall again while you wait for a response from ESET following this procedure:

Perform the Uninstall process (only the uninstall) in this Knowledgebase article:
Next, install EMS Android from Google Play and choose Load license data when you activate it.

Thank you for your reply foneil,

I have un-installed and using that method several times as well as reinstalling from Google Play and selecting the "load license data" Activation option. For some reason the EMS app does not recognise that a license has been purchased.

Currently I am getting an error message that reports that the private message service is currently unavailable, but I will try again later so I can send you some contact details.

    Thanks again,
    Daniel
