    Hello all,

I've been conducting some tests on pushing the install of 4.2.35 to upgrade clients running 4.0.x (various versions) and have been noticing that some Windows XP clients (so far only XP) has been randomly crashing with BSOD errors.

All of them I have encountered so far are resulted in "paging into non paged area" type message with the driver being eamon.sys. The crashes happen either minutes or hours after the upgrade has completed, but the machine runs stable after the reboot.

My intent is that I want to do silent pushes of installs to all workstations and having the user reboot on their own time to lessen the impact of their work. Has anyone else encountered difficulties with upgrading their clients?

Running ERAS 3.1.15. Impatiently waiting for the ERAS 4.0 release . :)

I mentioned having this problem weeks ago, and was totally ignored.

They told me I should verify compatibility before... REALLYo_O? Try being concerned that your program is causing an issue, ACTUALLY show that you want to try to find out why, not just blow off a customer..
Out of 1056 clients I upgraded, I ended up having 594 that blue screened after pushing out the update. I did noticed that if you did a force reboot after upgrade, they were usually fine, but unlike before, now if you pushed an update and they continue to work throughout the day, many would end up blue screened. I am getting rather disappointed with the support that this forum offers anymore. I am seeking quotes from other vendors at the moment, as it is MORE than obvious that ESET is not AT ALL interested in maintaining its Enterprise Customers...

Well I pretty much pushed to most of my company with minimal issues. Now I'm downloading 4.2.40 (wish I knew about this sooner)

Just going to continue to replace my 4.0.x clients for now.

Had the same problem here...tested a push upgrade on 5 XP machines to 4.2.35 and 3 of them eventually blue screened (not right away...took some time). I'm now downloading 4.2.40 but don't see any fixes for this in the release notes unless I'm missing it.

Well that was fast...tested pushing 4.2.40 on 3 computers and 2 crashed within 10 minutes.
