    Hi,

I have AD installed on my windows xp, and quite happy with it.

But I have got a problem today. I'm sorry if this was mentioned before, I do checked each thread in AD forum briefly (at least each title ^_^)

I have 2 administrator accounts & 2 limited user accounts on my xp. With the administrator accounts, everything is fine, AD works normally. But with the limited user accounts, it seems that AD was disabled, the protection list is perfectly clean, even the ".DEFAULT" was disappeared. And it seems AD doesn't catch any application activity with limited user acounts too.

Does AD work with limited user accounts?

I'm sorry for my poor english.... Hope you can understand my meaning...

    Best Regards

    Hi Dryopithecus,

I set up a limited user account for test purposes, and get the same results as you. Both the AppDefend and RegDefend configuration tabs are disabled. Although the main tab shows AppDefend and RegDefend as enabled, they are not. As you have seen, application activity is permitted and the rules that you have set up as admin are ignored. At this stage in the beta, I would say AD does not support limited user accounts.

I can't even log in to the other account if I don't disable AD before switching users.
