Let's see how many members are running SpywareBlaster, and how many are running SpywareGuard? Or neither? There will always be a place on my PCs for SpywareBlaster, but I quit using SpywareGuard about a year ago.
I still have it, but don't update it often. I think i keep it for old times sake = the good old days memories The main reason i don't really need it is, i have ActiveX blocked in IE & also the OS. Plus i mainly use FF these days. However, i do put it on other peoples comps
I still have Spywareblaster but got rid of spywareguard although I think I am okay without either one of them.
I put SBlaster back on recently after it stopped working and would not remember it`s own settings... so must have been dependent on some feature of Windows (I probably disabled) although I never did find out what it was - working on a fresh install now though. Even if it`s just blocking some cookies in Firefox, it`s passive and isn`t annoying.
Neither...I use to use both but started having conflicts with the AV so I dropped them. With what I use now I don't really see where they are needed anyway.
I have in the past but I have not run it recently. Last time I ran it I was running it next to ThreatFire v4.1 and got stuck in a reboot loop. After I learned what the cause it I removed SB and have not tried it again.
I only use Super AntiSpyeware Free Edition. I don't need any resident program other than Eset Smart Security.
Hello, I run SpywareBlaster. It's one of the programs that I update on a daily basis even though it takes a week or so for the new database to be released. Regards, Nathan
