I am having a different problem with the tray icon in XP.

I can't get it to show! It showed the first time after I installed, but after I rebooted it disappeared. I did the "always show" setting for the icon under task bar properties but it never shows up.

Because I can't get the tray icon, I can't shut down SG when I want to. Going into teh task manager does no good, the programs restart themselves. This is very annoying. How can I get the icon back up and /or how can I shut it down otherwise?

Anyone from support ever going to respond to this? I would like to shutdown SG from time to time, but even the task manager won't let me do so.

You should be able to shut down SpywareGuard using the Task Manager.

First browse to the process tab. Then terminate the sgmain.exe process, and second the sgbhp.exe process. Let me know if this doesn't work.

(In regard to you not being able to see the icon in the system tray, that is certainly an odd problem. I've never had any reports of it before. Do you have this problem with any other programs?)

    Best regards,
