Would like internet security 2012 I have win XP...2.66 ghz pentium 4 and 1gb of ram on old machine...I see dual core is recommended even though an 800 mhz pentium they say works..

Av test.org claims it's light..I love the features..should it run well on my oldish computer?:)

It was beyond heavy on my XP x32 single core test machine. Just slowed the whole machine to a crawl.

I don't find it heavy at all, you can compare it to the competition with norton, avira, avast, etc.

I suggest you to test it and see it yourself :), just do the updates(very important).

No offense but...are you kidding me? Avira and Avast heavier then Bitdefender? I have tried Bitdefender 2011 for a while when got a license through a gift of the day action and it slowed down my system considerably.

Both Avira and Avast(Especially Avast.) are much...much lighter then BD. The results can/will differ some what on each computer i realize that, but still.

And with that, we'll close this thread before it becomes an A vs B. Thanks!
