Backup to DVD

    I would like to make backups to DVD.
    You say one has to have a UDF software instaled, in order to do it.
    So I suppose I have to make first a backup to another support, then copy it to a DVD?
    Is there a way to make a backup directly to a DVD?

    Then there is no way to create directly a DVD image when booting from your recsue media (outside windows)?

    Correct. You cannot image direct to DVD from within the boot rescue environment.
