    Hi all,
i am just compiling the set of anti-spyware tools i am going to use on my newly-set-up W2k box and am wondering:
I have dl'ed Spybot S & D and it offers a resident protection module and something called "immunization".
Since i suppose a lot of locations monitored by SB and Spybot are identical, are there any conflicts to be expected between -
    1. protecting my system with SpyBlaster and "Immunizing" it with Spybot S&D?
    2. protecting my system with SpyBlaster and having Spybot's Resident Monitor running?
    3. protecting my system with SpywareGuard and "Immunizing"?
    4. protecting my system with SpywareGuard and Spybot Resident?
    5. any other combination i haven't thought of  ?

    TIA,
    Andreas

edit: i've just seen that in Spybot's "immunize" dialog, it refers to SpyBlaster being installed and offering better ActiveX protection. But that doesn't make the question superfluous. Do i understand it right that Spyblaster is then superior to *all* of the entries in "immunize"? And what about Spybot resident and what about Spywareguard...?

    Hi Andreas(W),

I´m using all three at the moment without problems, and sometimes add AdWatch to that.
Does that cover all combinations. ;)
    (Windows XP Pro)

    Regards,

    Pieter

Any combination of SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, Ad-Watch, Spybot Immunize, Spybot Resident, etc. should work fine. :)

    Best regards,
