I have been using keyscrambler premium for over a year now and it has been very troublesome. I am looking to remove it and replace it with something else.

One of the most annoying bugs is when I open a browser and start typing in a web address or search, the text is showing up in the encrypted form. For example, instead of "google.com", it comes up as "us*3/-6d1v". This usually happens when I load the browser and start typing before KS has chance to load, however more often than not it is doing this all the time. Another annoying problem is when KS doesn't load with Windows, or it loads in disabled mode.

I am looking at SpyShelter and Zemana.
Which is better (from tests) out of these two?

There are fans of both programs on this forum. Zemana currently doesn't have 64 bit compatibility. Zemana expects it to be ready second quarter of this year. Whether this happens or not, time will tell.

Both are exceptional programs in their own way. Spyshelter is heavy into HIPS protection as well as keylogger protection and has a free version available. Zemana is also pretty bullet proof and provides HIPS protection as well. Depending on your setup as to a good firewall you may not need a keylogger. Online Armor provides very good keylogger protection by itself. You can also look at the MRG Flash Tests which have been comnented on here at Wilders where Zemana has performed almost flawlessly: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=291818&highlight=mrg flash tests

    Thanks guys,

I am currently using Norton IS and Hitman Pro. Although I found Norton to be pretty solid when setup correctly, I was looking for something to compliment the real-time protection.

Webroot SecureAnywhere provides great overall protection and will work with just about anything out there. They have a Forum right here at Wilders under Prevx for the time being if you have any questions. I use it as my frontline defense (I'm wandering off topic - stop it Mongol!)...

From what reviews and tests I have read, WebRoot Secure Anywhere is pretty poor. MRG tested it in December and it only stopped 24 out of 50 malicious apps.

    Yeah SpyShelter is pretty good!
SpyShelter also behaves a bit like a HIPS not only Anti Logging :D

sure this is a keycrambler problem?
with premium you should contact their support to clearify and solve that issue.
in any other case i would say your system is in real trouble

I'm sure, what else would be causing the keys to become garbled? I had KS on two machines and after a while they both went funny. I re-installed Windows on one of them and within days the same thing was happening again. Tried different browsers too but no luck with it. Good bye KS.
