    Rollback RX simply restores the whole system, I tested it more than 10 years ago. But I decided not to use it because I read some negative things about it, but perhaps it has been improved. In theory it's really a great tool that should be able to restore the system even when it's corrupted quite badly.

    @Rasheed187,

    What is your thoughts and opinion on the AppGuard and/or Raxco Instant Recovery?

    Kind regards,

    I have never actually used them but I never like AppGuard, too complex for me. And Raxco seems to be a rebranded version of Rollback RX.

    IR is completely different from Rollback, using completely different technologies. IR, by its original name First Defense, was on the market at least a couple years before Rollback, so there is no way it can be "rebranded", but like I said, they are completely different anyway. There are at least several folks at Wilders, including myself, who have used both and can testify to this.

    OK my bad, thanks for clearing this up. How are they different? And the reason I assumed they were the same is because they are also selling a rebranded version of Zemana AntiMalware.

    Absolutely.
    I currently have Raxco Instant Recovery, Rollback Rx in the past and would never subject my pc to the latter again.
    IR works just fine without the dangers of Rx.

    LOL. Rollback is a hundred times faster than IR, IR is a hundred times more rock solid reliable than Rollback.

    OK I see, so Rollback RX still has the same problems as in the past, too bad. BTW, I still need to test NeuShield.
