Right, I realize that. Not tempted to try the Windows app after seeing how slow the browser extension was. I just switched back to uBlock Origin after using ABP for a while recently and web page loading speeds have improve significantly now.

AdGuard updated to 7.51 this morning and now I can't connect to the internet if my browser is sandboxed with sandboxie.

Any idea what changed that would cause this?

    From memory:
Have you acivated the "DNS" switch? For some reason I activated it without chosing any server> no internet. (No clue how I did that)
After chosing a server it worked.
On windows 10, 1909, with the "legacy assistant" Adguard is running fine on FF 80 with sandboxie 5.33.6.

For people stubling across sandboxie problems with the new assistent

If you get it working let me know :D

I am using the desktop version, the DNS switch was off, I turned it on and now sandboxed browsers are working again.

    Thanks!

The only thing I don't like about these deep discount deals is that they are sometimes better than the one I got 9 months ago! ;) But AdGuard for Windows is worth the money! :thumb:

Is there any benefit in enable the simplified DNS filter in AdGuard 7.5? I was wondering if with this filter AdGuard would act similar to Pi-Hole.

Ps: For the record I have the Safe DNS enabled with Cloudflare as the provider.

I can't find an option between 3 licenses or up to 9 :thumbd: I only need 4-5, are the ones I mentioned the only options?

The difference between 3 and 9 is only $10, when they are on sale (often).

    the programme not the extension:
spams alot of these: rundll32/exe msi2717.tmp zzzzInvokeManagedCustomActionOutOfProc SfxCA_159015 12 Adguard

Another one : Rundll.exe uses Control_RundDLL or else shell32.dll, a signed binary proxy execution, it is used in payloads

lots of problems with OSA or vodooshield when running adguard because of that potentially dangerous behaviors
