Yahoo Mail Not Scaning again!!

    Alert: Virus Scan Unavailable, Attachment Not Scanned [Quality First Pets Wholesale list 10-17-2005 Yahoo! Mail Virus Protection [mail-antivirus@yahoo-inc.com]
    Your Yahoo! Mail Virus Protection was temporarily unavailable when you downloaded the enclosed message. Therefore, its attachment 'Quality First Pets 10-17-2005 wholesale list.pdf' has not been scanned for viruses. We Advise you to scan the attachment before opening it. You have two options:
    -Scan the file with anti-virus software. If you don't have anti-virus software installed on your computer, you are vulnerable to viruses.
    -Send the enclosed message back to your Yahoo! Mail address and download it later. We hope to have virus scanning available shortly. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

    Yahoo! Mail successfully cleans most infected attachments, which protects you from viruses.


    Just wanted to show the False sense of Security with Yahoo mail and the One’s out there That DoNot Have an AntiVirus on there Computers and Just rely on there Web Base E-mail AntiVirus!!

    unfortunately a lot of people still don't have AV installed or just keep the one that comes with their computer and never even bother to update it...

    My ISP (a local regional independent) uses Postini's SpamGuard and VirusGuard, both of which (usually) work excellently.

    But any time there's a flood of spam getting past SpamGuard, the ISP agrees that it's quite likely both services are malfunctioning, and I should make sure my own email a-v (I use avast) is doing its thing.
