hi today i wanted to disable desktop composition for a 64bit program i running w7 64bit and i have noticed that i can disable desktop composition only for 32bit application for 64 bit application , disable desktop composition is not Grey , i can disable desktop composition ,but when i run the 64bit application , w7 does not disabled work perfectly with 32bit application but is it normal or my w7 sp1 64bit needs some registry tweak? thanks

hi @stapp does it work for you? well I have just readed , and the page 2 but my compatibility settings tab there is nothing grey out and i haven't "Change settings for all users" can w7 64bit disable desktop composition for 64bit application? from the forum thanks
I don't have Windows 7 @mantra I was just looking around for something that might help you. Perhaps a Win 7 user may chime in.
