Will KDE drop support for older graphics chips?

    I don't blame KDE, Mac is doing the same, have done so many times in past.

    Any decision that takes away some choice from the user is bad.

    I agree but KDE runs like crap on older hardware any ways. Way run KDE on old hardware and not something like LXDE, XFCE, etc. which can run on lower spec machines flawlessly?

    Plus if they do it we all know someone will come along and fork a copy of it and make it work on older hardware ;)
