When DBAN writes zeros does it write table for bad sectors?

Simple question I think. When I run DBAN's autonuke (default) does it check for bad sectors/blocks and write or re-write the table (in firmware?) of bad ones? If it does I don't need to re-scan for these since the table should already be 'updated'.

    Thanks,
