What Usenet/Newsgroup Client do you use?

    for people who download via usenet what is the recommendations for a good light non bloated usenet client reader?

    Pan. But just to read newsgroups, not to download anything.

    I also use Pan, but I'm curious as to why you don't download with it, vasa1? It downloads fine for me and can't ever remember a single problem with it. Very good newsgroup program.

    If you're looking for a paid programs, Newsleecher is excellent, but Pan is a very good free alternative.

    When i used to participate in newsgroups (when most isps provided free newsserver as well as free email),i used microplanet gravity.

    'Eternally-in-beta' Grabit has worked fine for me but now only SABnzbd since a couple of years.
    Imo hands down the best, for nzb files that is, it runs on windows, OSX, linux, just lovely... link.

    I use sabnzbd and it works great, no issues at all. :thumb:
